• Bentonite Clay: This mineral powerhouse is mildly abrasive, allowing it to gently polish away surface stains without scratching your enamel. Rich in calcium and magnesium, it also helps support the natural strength of your teeth.

   

• Baking Soda: Just a touch of sodium bicarbonate helps neutralize plaque-causing acids. It's a time-tested natural whitener that leaves your mouth feeling incredibly clean.

   

• Sorbitol: Derived from fruits and berries, this natural humectant keeps our paste smooth and pliable in its tin. Unlike sugar, it is non-fermentable, meaning it doesn't feed the bacteria that cause cavities. It provides a cool, subtle sweetness.

• Organic Coconut Oil: Contains lauric acid, known for its natural antimicrobial properties. It helps bind the minerals together while providing a silky texture that coats and soothes your teeth and gums.

• Safe Botanicals for Pets: (In our Pet Breath Freshener formula) Our pet formula uses a very low concentration of high-quality spearmint essential oil and other safe botanicals to freshen breath without the harshness of peppermint or the toxicity of tea tree oil.

The Ritual: How to Use 🥄

Experience a deeper clean with the power of the earth. Because our formula is free from synthetic foaming agents and preservatives, it might feel a little different at first. Here’s how to get the best results:

1. Scoop: Use a small wooden spatula or a clean spoon to scoop a pea-sized amount of paste onto your toothbrush.

• Tip: To keep your tin fresh and bacteria-free, avoid dipping a wet toothbrush directly into the paste.

2. Brush: Brush thoroughly for two minutes. You’ll notice this paste doesn't "suds" up like traditional brands—that’s because we’ve left out the harsh SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate). Instead, the bentonite clay and baking soda work to gently polish and lift stains.

3. Rinse & Smile: Spit and rinse with warm water. Your teeth will feel "dentist-clean" and smooth!

A Note on Transitioning: If you are transitioning from commercial toothpaste, your mouth might need a few days to adjust to the natural texture and salty-sweet finish of the minerals. Stick with it—your enamel (and the planet) will thank you!

Care & Storage

• Keep it Cool: Because we use organic coconut oil, your toothpaste may soften in the heat or firm up in the cold. If it gets too firm, simply let the warmth of your brush or a few drops of warm water soften it up.

• Tighten the Lid: To prevent the minerals from drying out, ensure the lid is screwed on tight after every use.

• Shelf Life: For maximum freshness, we recommend using your 2 oz tin within 6 months of opening.
